What is the partners feature about?

Please note: the myNCGA app is retiring 10/01/22. Learn More.

Partners are people you regularly play with and/or for whom you want to easily track their indexes. To enter Partners, click on the 3 bars at the top left of the main screen, then select Partners. If you already have Partners, you will see them listed with their current handicap index. To add Partners to this list, click on the + sign on the top right to get the ‘Add Partner’ screen. You can add a partner by entering their GHIN #, or alternatively search by name.

Your partners will also show up when you are looking up your course handicap, e.g. can look up your partners at the same time to compare strokes.

When you get to the screen with your course handicap for course and tees you are playing, the number on the left in orange, labelled C.H. is your course handicap for that round. The other 2 numbers are for when you add other players, and they show the relative strokes difference or ‘shots off’.

To add partners, click on the + sign on the right top to get the ‘Add Golfer’ screen. If you have previously added Partners, they will show up in that tab, (or you can use the other tabs to add someone by GHIN #, search by name, or manually add them by name and index). As you add golfers, their course handicap will appear as the middle ‘ADJ’ number and the stroke difference will appear as the right ‘SHOTS OFF’ number. There is a drop-down arrow for the tees in  case they are playing a different set of tees, click on that and it will re-calculate.

Want to remove someone form this view? Swipe their name from right to left, will be a red remove flag, and they’re gone. If you do this mistakenly, just go back to the Add Golfer screen by clicking the + sign.
